Lucy's New Stats

Lucy and I went to the doctor yesterday. I thought she had a patch of thrush on the roof of her mouth but it turned out not to be thrush. We went ahead and did her four month check up today since our appointment was next week anyway. Everything turned out great, she is pretty much perfect. The only problem is that we discovered she has acid reflux and we are going to start her on some medicine. I knew she had been spitting up a lot but she hasn't been losing weight so I didn't worry. But apparently it can be painful to a little bear (and might explain some fussiness). Also, some other good news, we aren't teething yet. I thought she was but she isn't.
This is a picture from our walk the other day.

Lucy is certainly growing, but I'm glad she only looks like her daddy and isn't keeping up with his growth pattern. I remember very well that he weighed 17 pounds at his 3 month checkup. My friend whose daughter weighed the same described Jonathan as feeling like pure lead compared to Mary Carole who felt more like she was picking up a little monkey. I am so glad about finding out about the reflux!!
