Friday night Jonathan and I loaded up the dogs,
Lucy, half a nursery and ourselves in my pathfinder and traveled down to
Arkadelphia. We left
Bentonville around 8:30 and arrived around 1:30. Lucy slept the entire time! I was so proud of her because she hates her
car seat and she's not a big fan of the car either. Anyway she did great! Once we got to Papaw's and
Grandcookies house we were ready for bed but Lucy was ready to party. She was a little hungry and a little tired but she was very curious about her new surroundings. She eventually went to bed around 2:30. She got up at 6:30 went back to bed and slept until 10:00. (I love it when she does that, especially on weekends because we get to sleep in too)
Saturday afternoon we had lots of visitors, we got to see Aunt Delta (they were in town too), papaw
Wayne and
mamaw vel. Lucy thought Wayne was pretty funny because he would make duck noises at her and she would smile so big!
So everyone has heard me say that Lucy is a fussy baby and she kind of only likes her mommy. Well this weekend Lucy was the best baby, she let everyone hold her. She took naps. She laughed. She never really got fussy unless it was time to go to bed and then she just wanted to be rocked. She was so good!!
So Saturday night we went over to the Hunting Cabin to have a Thanksgiving Feast that Dennis and Co had prepared. There was so much food and it was all so delicious! Thank you Uncle Dennis for preparing such a wonderful feast. We hope you cater all of our Family Get
togethers!! We had so much fun and I wish I would have taken more pictures, there were about 20 people there but it only looks like the
bost family was there from my pictures that we took. Oh well, we will take more next time!
We had such a good time in
Arkadelphia and we are looking forward to going there for Christmas!! Here are some pictures from the weekend.
