HighChairs and Sweaters...

Not a lot going on in the Bost Household. Lucy and I have tried to get out of the house the past few days since we were stuck indoors all last week. Yesterday we went by wal-mart to pick up our new highchair. Lucy seems to really like it. I'm glad it came in because I'm pretty sure she won't fit in the bumbo any more. Her little legs have a hard time fitting in the little slot. I think we are going to pass it down to Emma Grace.

Funny story-Yesterday Lucy and I went to the Promenade to do a little window shopping. Before we left I got ready while Lucy took a nap. I had time to put on makeup and to poof up my hair and I was really feeling good about myself. I was feeling so good that I took off my sweat pants and put on a pair of jeans and a really cute sweater that my mother in law gave me for Christmas last year. I love this sweater. I wore it a couple of times when I first got it but couldn't wear it because of my pregnant belly.

Anyway, Lucy and I went shopping and we walked around Dillard's and then the whole promenade and we even went to TJMaxx. I noticed at all of these places people kept looking at us. I just thought they were noticing that I was having a really good hair day (because I was).  Did I mention I felt really good about myself.... well turns out I had this gigantic hole in my sweater. I'm not talking a rip.... I'm talking about the arm sleeve to my sweater is hanging on by threads and my white long sleeve undershirt is hanging out for everyone to see. I felt like the biggest hobo!!! I'll post pictures!

Here is Lucy in her new Mary Englebreit outfit.
Here is the sweater.
Here is the hole!! I am hoping I can sew it, actually I hope my mom can sew it.

Mary - you crack me up! You are so beautiful and classy - I am sure that no one even noticed the little rip in your sweater.
And I LOVE Lucy's outfit - she looks adorable in it!

You could NEVER look like a hobo, not even if you tried. I think people were just thinking, " What a lovely young mother with her adorable little daughter!.....but oh my goodness, she probably doesn't know she has a hole in her sweater."
David will be relieved about the high chair. He was worried that Lucy would figure out a way to pitch herself off the countertop in the Bumbo.

I am sure that you looked fabulous, despite the hole in the sweater! I must admit though that I laughed out loud when I saw the picture because that totally sounds like something that would happen to me!
