My Funny Valentine...

My Funny Valentine came home the other day and told me we were going to have a Valentine Date. My reaction was "Oh really." We have not been out, just the two of us, since Lucy was three months old. I asked who was going to watch the bear and he said he had already taken care of it. Hmmm..... I was a little scared to see who he had lined up to babysit but then he informed me that his parents were going to be in town and they had volunteered to babysit. WOOHOO!! I'm so excited!!

So where are we going to go? I'm glad you asked.

Have you heard of Crabbys? Have you eaten at Crabbys? Do you have an opinion of Crabbys?

I saw the menu online and it looks delicious. I have been craving seafood for a while now so I think it will be perfect!!

I am very impressed with Jonathan! I might need to show Aaron this blog! :)

I have not been to Crabby's, but my mom has and said it was very good. I have been wanting to try it for some time. I love seafood too!

Well, I never dreamed that my perfect Valentine's date would be to babysit my granddaughter. But, that was before LUCY!! I can hardly wait!
I know we are going to have to get reacquainted since it's been 6 weeks since we've seen each other. But, that's okay...I think she will warm up pretty fast.
See you 1 week from today!

Dear Lucy, Please tell your mom that I am so excited (and a little bit jealous) for her and her valentine date night. That will be wonderful for her and your daddy (every parent needs a break now and then).

And I know that you will have so much fun with grandcookie and papaw. But always know that you can just call your Aunt Laura if I need to come and rescue you from them. Just kidding because right now you hate me, and you only like to cry when I hold you (or look at you (or talk to you)). But, you mark my word because one day the two of us are going to be best of friends. Love, Aunt Laura
