Sometimes the best thing for diaper rash is to play naked. Not for too long because accidents can happen.

This morning I woke up to someone whispering my name. When I looked up my sister Emily, who has been visiting, was hunched over Jonathan and was saying,"Mary we need to go" in his ear. As I realized what was happening Jonathan jumped up and said, "Emily What are you doing?". Emily panicked and started saying oh no, you switched sides of the beds I'm so sorry. Haha! In her defense we did switch sides so I could be closer to the bathroom when I was pregnant with Lucy. Oh by the was she was waking my up so I could take her to the airport. I thought this was humorous and worth sharing!

I just can't get motivated to blog. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I started school and I'm tired and all I want to do when I get home is play with my Lucy. Anway, Here are a few pictures from a week ago.
Lucy playing in a box. She pulled all her lovies off the bookshelf behind her and played with them in the box. Here is a picture for my mom. Mom was in town for three weeks! I think she would have stayed longer but her friend Debbie went on Hospice this last week and Mom wanted to help take care of her.
Alright, I have new pictures that I will post tomorrow. Thanks to my faithful readers (ha, sisters and becky) for sticking with me.

I accidental took a break from blogging. I have had a couple of complaints from my many a followers (sisters). I have decided that tomorrow I will return to blogging with pictures. Tonight I will leave you with this......
This is one of the first pictures of Lucy and while we are on the subject of babies I will tell you a little story. This week my sisters sister-in-law and my friend Audrey had her baby, Miss Lila Grace Coble. After seeing Lila in the hospital I came home and told Jonathan I was ready to have another baby. We also saw triplets in the nursery and I actually came home and told Jonathan I wanted triplets.
Well the next two nights a miracle happened...
I was up two nights in a row with a sick baby. Lucy had a double ear infection and she was miserable. She had a fever of 101.1. All she wanted to do was be held. The miracle was I realized I didn't want to have a baby for a while. I'm not ready for all the all nighters again which were totally exhausting. Could you imagine triplets?

I just have a couple of updates that I want to record so I don't forget. A lot has happened over the last week.
-become a professional crawler
-started to pull up on things
-started play school and loves it!
-started drinking formula during the day while at school, still nursing in the morning and at night.
-started clapping when she hears the word clap, snap, slap, or anything that resembles clap.
-started picking her nose (ha)
-started sitting up from a laying down position.
-said Hey Dad!, Hey Daddy!, Autumn and Autumn the dog, and A Dog. These are just the new words she has been saying she has been saying mama, num num, and dada for a while now.
-eaten strawberries, cake, cake icing and whip cream!
Right now that is all I can think of but it has all happened within the last week so I didn't want to forget!

Lucy got an A+ at school today. Her teachers said that she did so good. She loved playing with the others kids and she actually took a nap. They said that she only got upset when parents started dropping kids off in the room and when she was hungry or wet. They said she didn't cry very long but she did get a little upset. When I picked her up (11:45, I almost made it to 12) she was laying in her crib looking around with her blanket over her and her frog under her arm. When she saw me she started to cry (and so did I) and we hugged for about 5 min. in the room.
I think we both did pretty good considering it was the longest we have been apart in the last 18 months!
Lucy after school!Look how cute her outfit is. I am not sure why this is upside down...
I love this kid!
Today is the day that I have been dreading for the last 9 months. Today my baby girl started playschool. I am taking a class this summer and Lucy can't go with me so we enrolled her in play school. My class doesn't start for another 2 weeks so we are just doing half days for lucy right now. It's almost 11 and I have cleaned the entire house, minus my bedroom because I'm avoiding it like the plague and/or swine flu. I am making myself wait until noon before I pick Lucy up. That's in an hour. I have a hour to myself and I don't know what to do.
I'll let you know how today goes...
