The Life and Death of Woo Pig Sooie.

Woo Pig Sooie came into our life just a few short days ago. Though our time with her wasn't long the memories we have will last a life time. W.P.S was a gentle pig. She liked children. She especially liked Lucy. They had special relationship that only the two of them will ever understand. We want to say thank you for the memories and we are going to miss you.
The End.

An Afternoon Snack.

When I went to pick Lucy up I heard a teacher, who was standing in the hallway say, "Here comes her mom." I thought oh no, what has happened and then I heard it. Lucy was throwing a huge fit. I was still walking down the hall and asked why she was upset. They said Well Aunt Laura was holding her and just put her down and now she is throwing a fit. I walked in and two workers + Aunt Laura were all trying to calm Lucy down. Ha, I said new rule Aunt Laura isn't allowed to hold Lucy anymore. It makes her mad when she can't go home with her. (just kidding Laura we love you)

So, since we were all in the same place we decided we should go get a snack. Taylor got to choose. At first he wanted to go to Taco Bell for a cheese roll up. We vetod that. He turned down Coldstone but then decided on Krispy Kreme.

You don't have to twist my arm. Lucy and I had a football doughnut. I ate it but didn't enjoy it. I knew it cancelled out my run from this morning. Oh well I'll just run more tomorrow.

Here are some pictures.

Woo Pig

Saturday we went to Walmart to pick up some ingredients for Chili. I love watching Football and eating Chili. While we were there Lucy got a new toy. Her daddy picked it out for her. I had promised Lucy a baby doll. (she loves babies but the two I have for her are too big for her to carry around) Instead of a baby doll, Lucy came home with this. (see picture below)

Yes, it is a stuffed Razorback. We named her woo pig sooie.

Lucy carried wps around the rest of the day. The End.

Two things.

Two great things have happened this week. My Lucy bear turned 14 months old this week and I have officially been blogging for one year now. I am really proud of myself for keeping a journal for a whole year. Most of my journals have 2 or 3 entries in them.

Lucy Bear after her bath
Here are our 14 month stats...
Lucy is...
wearing 18-24 month clothes ( still a little big)
wearing size 4 diaper ( I just bought size 5 we aren't in them yet)
wearing size 5 shoes
dancing when there is music
singing her abc's (she can get to j)
climbing all over the dogs like a jungle gym
talking all the time. She can say many words.
walking and running
getting into everything
going to bed without a fuss
taking 2 naps a day. anywhere from 20 min. to 2 hours
drinking organic whole milk 2 times a day.
eating all the time.
being more and more precious everyday.
Jonathan told me that this is his favorite stage. He said, " we can actually play together now." I agree that it is a lot of fun to play with her now but sometimes I miss my bald headed baby.

For Aunt Emily.

Here are some pictures for my dear sister, Aunt Emily. She lives in New York City. We got to talk today and she talked about how much she missed the kids. So here are some pictures we took yesterday. We miss you and can't wait to see you in November.

Lucy's one year old pictures are in! They are precious. If you want to see them you can go to this website. click on clients. the password is emmaandlucy. I am going to have a hard time deciding which pictures I want.

Blue Jean Baby...

I went shopping the other day and found the cutest pair of blue jeans for Lucy. Yesterday was her first day to wear them and I think they are the cutest things I have ever seen. I don't usually like for my baby girl to look like a big girl but these were too cute!!

Classic pose with the Toilet.

It has come to my attention that my baby dresses way cuter and cooler than me.

Sick Day!

Lucy stayed home from play school today. She has been fighting allergies for the past couple of days and this morning she had a slight fever and a finger in her ear. Usually a finger in the ear means ear infection for us. At our last doctor's appointment our doctor told us that the next ear infection meant she was sending us to the Ear Nose and Throat doctor to see about tubes. I cried when she told me this. I didn't breast feed this kid for 12 1/2 months so she could get tubes. Oh well, I guess if I didn't breast feed she would have gotten tubes at 6 months. So it was worth it. (and I loved doing it) Anyway, today we are just going to hang out until our doctor's appointment. Lucy is taking a nap right now and I should take advantage of it and clean or job hunt.

Here are a few pictures of our day so far.

Update: It's an Ear Infection. We will see the ENT next week.

In one years time a lot of things have changed. Last year when we were tailgating I remember it being very stressful. Stressful because Lucy was 2-3 months old and she just wanted to eat and scream. This year was much easier... well except Lucy was into everything and the street was more fun to play in than the grass. but none the less easier. Here are a few pictures.

I found this picture after I posted.
This is the real first tailgate picture.

Woo Pig!

Today we went down to the Road Hog Park to do a little tailgating with the Bost Family and Friends. We always enjoy tailgating with the Bost especially when Dennis is cooking! I wish you could have seen how much he grilled. There was like 50 lbs of food which included Chicken, Ribs, and Pork shoulder. Here are a few pictures of the event.

Date Night

Last night we had a double date with the Coble's . Lucy had her first spend the night party with her papaw and GrandCookie aka David and Becky Bost. We had planned on eating at pesto cafe but once we got there there were no parking spaces and a mile long line out front. So being the smarty pants that we seem to be we headed to Dickson Street. Yes on a game weekend around 7:30.... not our brightest idea. One restaurant told us it would be 10:30 before we could eat. We finally went to Wasabi and had Sushi. It was really good! After Sushi we decided we should go bowling at FastLanes. We ate, we bowled, we got home around 12. It was a fun night!

Here are a few pictures from our date night.

Best Friends

I dropped Lucy off at playschool this morning and as we walked in we were happily greeted by Emma Grace. Emma Grace waves and smiles so big when she sees her favorite cousin. I put Lucy down and Lucy ran and plopped down to sit next to Emma to have her morning snack. The funny thing about snack is that Lucy loves to eat it even though she eats three pancakes for breakfast at home. The workers told me that the girls are so sweet to each other. Then they told me a story which is actually why I started this post. They said," When Lucy wakes up from nap the first thing she does is goes over to Emma Grace to wake her up." I said,"how does she wake her up." (I was thinking she softly rubs her back and whispers wake up BFF.) Instead they said that she lays on top of her. Ha. They also said that she doesn't wake up any of the other kids just Emma Grace.

Isn't that sweet! Well here is the rest of the story.

They girls have been going from 2 naps a day to one. Needless to say they are cranky when they get home. Laura has told me that Emma has been in the worst mood ever when she would get home like she wasn't getting enough sleep. Well come to find out Lucy has been cutting Emma's nap short everyday.

Sorry Sister!
