Sick Day!

Lucy stayed home from play school today. She has been fighting allergies for the past couple of days and this morning she had a slight fever and a finger in her ear. Usually a finger in the ear means ear infection for us. At our last doctor's appointment our doctor told us that the next ear infection meant she was sending us to the Ear Nose and Throat doctor to see about tubes. I cried when she told me this. I didn't breast feed this kid for 12 1/2 months so she could get tubes. Oh well, I guess if I didn't breast feed she would have gotten tubes at 6 months. So it was worth it. (and I loved doing it) Anyway, today we are just going to hang out until our doctor's appointment. Lucy is taking a nap right now and I should take advantage of it and clean or job hunt.

Here are a few pictures of our day so far.

Update: It's an Ear Infection. We will see the ENT next week.

Poor Lucy - I am so sorry that you are sick. I love the way that you are hanging out on the couch - did you stay there long? Feel better soon! Love, Aunt Laura

Lucy, I hope you feel better soon baby girl. Brenner says hello and he knows all about those allergies.

Is she really taking a nap on the couch? Oh lord if I could get Brenner to just sit still for one sec! a nap any where other than his bed would not happen!

I'm so sorry you have an ear infection Miss Lucy. You have done a great job making it this far without one yet. I hope you feel better soon and do not end up needing tubes.
