Today was the first sunny day in Three weeks. I don't know if that is true but it seems like it. It has been raining so much that we haven't been able to go outside and play, until today. We took advantage of the wonderful weather. We went to the Bentonville Park by the square. It is my favorite park because 1. it is shaded, 2. it is fenced in, and 3. It has a paded ground surface.
I love this face.

This past weekend we went to Arkadelphia to visit Jonathan's parents. We haven't been down there since Christmas. Wow, sorry GrandCookie and Papaw we will try to come more often. We had a good visit. We arrived Friday night and as soon as we got there Papaw had to show Lucy all of the goodies he has collected for her. (and future grandchildren, she is spoiled right now being the only one) Lucy was very excited about all the toys. There was a little john deere car, an airplane, a tricycle and to top it off a puppy. Papaw and GrandCookie are trying to bribe Lucy into visiting more often. I think their plan might work. Here are a few pictures from our visit.

Lucy and I have been busy making desserts for the wee friends bake sale and for the Sunday school party. Lucy has been a great little helper.
Here she is helping me get a bowl from the cabinet. The number one rule of helping, Always wear your shoes.Lucy is waiting on the cakes in the oven. She was too cute staring into the oven.

Friday was Lucy's last day of school. Actually Wednesday was her last full day of school since she had her surgery was on Thursday. So on Friday we just went for recess and brought cupcakes. I am really excited about staying at home with Lucy. I am also really sad for taking her out of school. She loves school. She loves the teachers. She loves her friends. We are going to stay active though. At 18 months she can join Mothers Day Out. There is a group at that reads to toddlers at the library once a week. I found a fenced in playground. We are just going to stay busy. We are looking forward to this new adventure.
Here are some pictures from her last day of school. We are going to miss seeing Emma Grace everyday.
I love this picture. Lucy with all her friends.
The kids eating cupcakes. Yes they are shirtless. How else do you stay clean?
Lucy getting ready to go.
Lucy and Miss Ashley singing the shark song.
Lucy's favorite teacher. Miss Kim. We love her. She is our official babysitter. If we ever go out. And there are no grandparents.
On Saturday we picked up our best pals, Laura, Taylor and Manna and headed to Anderson, MO to the Right Choices corn maze. After a slight detour to Oklahoma we arrived at the farm. I was really surprised at how big it was and how many people were there. At the Right Choices farm there was a corn maze-long and short, a cow train, slides, a hay jump, animals, and a corn shooter. It was really a neat experience and I can't wait to do it again next year with Jonathan and Lucy.
