Sleeping Beauty!!

Before:
After:

I had to get Lucy up super early this morning so we would be at Aunt Laura's at 6:45. We are watching Taylor this week. He has to take a week off from Play school to let his ear heal. We are always happy to help! I have learned so much about Star Wars. I think we watched 4 out of the 7 movies. (many of you may think there are just 6 but don't forget about the animated movie "The Clone Wars") I think tomorrow we are watching the Narnia series and  Wednesday=Harry Potter. It is going to be a fun week!

Big Girl!

Lucy started taking baths in the bath tub. Before we had a little fisher price bath tub. She loves splashing and kicking and pulling at the drain in the big bath tub though. I just thought this was a milestone that I would want to remember. I wish she would stop growing up but I love seeing her become so independent!

The Cobles

Today we went to see The Cobles! They had just gotten back from Little Rock today where Taylor had had his ear surgery. Everything went great with his surgery and they think the doctor successfully fixed his ear drum! They will have it checked out in three weeks so we will continue to pray for Taylor! While we were at the Coble's Lucy and Emma got a chance to play together. You could tell they missed each other. They fought for the blue block the entire time. They are so sweet together.

I love this little boy!

Yummy Yummy...

Here are a few pictures from dinner the other night! Lucy's new favorite food is Green Beans. I didn't think she would like them because she has been eating yummy fruits but she really enjoyed them. She couldn't get her mouth open fast enough.

8 months old!

My baby is 8 months old. I can't believe it has already been 8 months. I wish I could slow down time. I wish she would be little forever. Everyday she becomes more and more precious and independent. I love her so much.
At 8 months Lucy is....

sitting all by herself.
scooting backwards
teething
saying dadada all the time
saying num num when she is happy and mama when she is mad.
eating baby food twice a day, we are about to start three times a day.
about to outgrow size 3 diapers.
wearing 9-18 month clothes
jumps all the time.
entertaining herself on her play mat
playing well with others (Emma Grace)
finding peoples noses on command
playing peek a boo
sleeping so well
laughing at everything.

Did I mention that I love this kid!!

Sneak Peek!

Saturday Laura and I had the girls pictures done! Professionally! For some reason I haven't had professional pictures done since Lucy was 2 weeks old. Oops! We finally found a lady that we liked and whose prices are fantastic!! So the photographer put just a couple sneak peaks out on her blog so since I'm going to buy some of these pictures I don't think she will mind if I put a couple on my blog. (I hope)

I can't wait to see the rest!!

Emma Grace: Day 2

We watched Emma again today and while she was here the girls played a little dress up. Lucy wore a hat while Emma Grace had a bow. It looks like they wanted to trade in the picture below.
They are so sweet when they play together.

Emma Grace: Day 1

Emma Grace has been sick with a double ear infection. So guess who got to keep her for the past two days! Yep, your right, AUNT MARY! I have really enjoyed keeping her both of the girls have been great. Yesterday they were on opposite schedules so when one was sleeping the other was awake and vice verse. Here are a few pictures of the girls playing together!

Taylor turns 5!

On Monday my favorite nephew, Taylor Lee Coble, turned 5 years old! I can't believe he is already 5. We went over to the Cobles on Sunday and had a cookout and birthday cake! It was too much fun. I asked Taylor if he would stop growing up and he said, "Mary, I have to grow up so I can go to college!" I love this kid. He got lots of cool star wars and Narnia gifts.

My sick baby girl...

My baby girl had her first sick visit to the doctor on Monday. Lucy has been really congested and pulling at her ears a lot. Turns out she has an ear infection in her left ear, she also has a cold. So we started antibiotics ans she seems to be feeling better. She still sounds bad-real congested breathing but it hasn't slowed her down. Still bouncing and rolling and being sweet. I wish should would slow down a little bit because I think I have a cold too and a nap or two would really help me.

Here are some pictures of my sick baby.
She looks real sick doesn't she.
I love this kid.

Weekend Fun!

Jonathan and I babysat Taylor and Emma Grace early on Saturday morning. They came over around 8. We had so much fun with them. Jonathan and Taylor talked about Star Wars for 4 hours straight, I couldn't keep up so the girls and I talked about things like Mickey Mouse and Disney Princess'. I hope Laura and Ryan have a couple more work weekend a head of them so that we can watch the kids again! Lucy did really good too but she wasn't too sure about sharing her mommy.

Taylor making a silly face while petting Whitney (his favorite).
Emma Grace taking a nap in the swing
Don't tell Lucy but Emma loved jumping in her Jumper.

Saturday Night we went to Fayetteville to have dinner over at Matt and Julee's House! Julee out did herself with dinner. I should have taken a picture of it because it was great. Matt Grilled bacon wrapped steaks and Julee made corn, salad, rolls, and baked potato's to go with it. She also made a white cake with chocolate icing and cookies. Delicious!! I wish I had some cake right now!

The Boys: Jonathan, Tony and Matt. (and Lucy)
Lucy was a little crabby because it was so late but you could tell that she liked Matt!
Poor Romeo, he was not happy about that silly collar. I am not really good at capturing events because I did not get a picture of Julee or Matt Green. Maybe next time. Julee and Matt, thanks for having us over for dinner and we can't wait to have you guys over to our house.

A New Trick

She does something new everyday.....

Today she pulled all her books off her shelf. I silently watched her do it because I think that is what you do with your first born!
