Nature Walk

The other day I took the kids to the Bella Vista walking trail and we went on a nature walk. Sounds like a good idea right? The .3 miles Lucy rode in the stroller, which was great. The next mile she walked with her monkey leash, I carried her for .5 miles until we reached the park. Then for the last .5 miles she rode in her stoller. It was fun though! We counted dogs and got chased by geese! We practiced all our words about nature and animal noises. I love that we have practiced our animals and some nature words at home so when we go out Lucy can apply them to real life. Lucy's nature walk words: Tree, Grass, Water, Goose, Honk-Honk, Duck, Quack Quack, dog, big dog, sky, blue sky, park, and slide. My favorite question is "What's that?" or "Mama, What's that?"
The Geese chasing us.
Still chasing us.
Taylor running from the geese.
My sweet TLC.
This is what my life would look like with two kids.

Lucy and her monkey.

The End.

Yeah Mary! Two kids- go for it!! Lucy needs a full time playmate! :)

Asher wanted to say thank you to Lucy for letting him borrow her swing. He absolutely loves it for about 5 minutes at a time! (Sounds familiar, doesn't it?)
