Today we woke up early for church and to check out what the Easter Bunny brought. Lucy was very excited about her basket. We had a wonderful church service with a great music and sermon. I always feel bad on easter. Why? Today the church was shoulder to shoulder seating for all three services. Why isn't it like that every Sunday? I feel Jesus deserves praise every day not just on sunday and not just for easter and christmas!

Now I'll get off my soap box and show you some Easter pictures.

Lucy's Easter Basket.
Fresh this morning (Yes wearing the same clothes as yesterday. She was asleep in the car last night so we just slipped a diaper on her and put her in bed)

Cookies and Eggs.

We spent the afternoon at home today dying eggs and decorating cookies. When we picked up a cake for Jonathan's birthday at the "gas station" bakery, we received a cookie decorating kit. So we decided to decorate some cookies. I don't know who had more fun Lucy or mama.

Lucy had an Easter Egg hunt at school today. I was able to get there early to "hide" the eggs. They were really just laid in the grass but the kids loved it! Lucy was so excited!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today my wonderful husband turned 31! We had a small get together tonight to celebrate his special day. I ordered Abuelo's for dinner and got a cake and we had ourselves a little party!

The Cake. It was a chocolate turtle cake and it was rich and divine! I got it from the gas station bakery! When I say gas station I mean gormet grocery store in Roger's (I think it's pinnacle station) that happen's to have a gas station.
My handsome husband.

Birthday spread.
I picked up plates at the associate store today and I guess this Vendor is tired of Walmart selling their samples in the store because I did not get what I paid for. One birthday plate and the rest were Christmas.
Lucy Abigail Bost.
Everyone had a fun time except Laura.... Laura, Why the long face? Oh maybe it was because she didn't eat any cake.
Emily and Emma enjoyed it though.
Thank you Jonathan for having a birthday. Thank you Coble's and Emily for coming over for Birthday dinner and cake.

The End.

Today was a another busy day. We had church, sunday school and another baby shower!

Today at church the children got to carry palm branches down the aisle and lay them at the cross. My little Lucy was included in this walk and this Mama was so proud! I almost cried.
In sunday school we have been teaching the kids the easter story. I've been really surprised at how well they done with this. They will tell us Jesus died for our sins because he loves us. This makes me so happy! So to reward them for their hard work we had an easter egg hunt.

I helped host a drop-in shower for Marci this afternoon.
