Week in the Life: Saturday

I slept in until 7. I started my day with a 2 mile walk. I was going to do more but Lucy was up early and Jonathan texted me saying that I was wanted!

I got home and we did a little sit and spin.

I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast.
After breakfast we spent a little time coloring as a family and we watched cartoons. I also tried to reformat my blog. I am still working on it!
We spent the majority of the day outside. Jonathan needed to mow and we needed to burn some energy! Do all kids love sunscreen?
I made lunch. I fixed the best sandwich. It's a Paula Dean recipe. (If you can call a sandwich a recipe) The ingredients: Bread, red pepper jelly, mayo(I use light), strawberries, brie cheese, turkey and basil. It is the best sandwich.
We played outside some more.
We made paper airplanes. The one on the right is Jonathan's and the one of the left is Lucy's.
We got really crafty and did some paper tricks and origami.
Lucy loved it.

I made minestrone for dinner.

I finished the night out by making cakelettes for my sisters shower. They look better once you take them off the wax paper. :)
Lucy just went to bed at 8:15. It's been a long day. I really enjoyed my family.

This is my last Week in the Life post. I hope to do it quarterly. One day I will enjoy looking back at what we do with a 2 year 11 1/2 month old girl. Tomorrow I will post about the baby shower I am helping host.

The End.

Seems very similar to the day I had with my kiddos (minus the crazy strawberry sandwich!). The trick is to keep them busy so they don't have time to get fussy!

I'll be back to hear about the baby shower! I love to get party ideas!

Stopping by from Jenna's. Looks like you had a fun filled day. I have never tried strawberries on a sandwich. Next time I will have too.
