Class Party.

Lucy's school had a class Party on Thursday! We got to play games, do crafts and listen to the kids sing there new songs. They sang the Itsy Bitsy spider, The Big Gigantic spider and the Teensy Weensy SPider. With each spider they had a new voice and new hand motions. I am proud to say that my child sang louder and was more animated than all the others. I don't think she is shy!
Lucy's best friend is Grant and she was so excited to see that he was dressed up as Scooby Doo!

The End.

Trick or Treat with Daddy's work.

Lucy and I went to Trick or Treat at Jonathan's work yesterday.
Lucy had a blast! She filled up her entire her pumpkin full of candy. She will never eat it all!

We met up with the Coble's too. Jonathan and Ryan work in the same building.
Lucy adores Taylor.
Lucy and Emma. Aren't they cute.
Outside in the parking lot they had the fall festival set up with big Jump houses and slides. There was also carnival food. If you didn't know I love carny food. I split a funnel cake with Jonathan and Lucy and it was delicious!

We had another ultrasound on Tuesday and we got to see Baby Bost. Baby Bost has grown a lot in the bast two weeks. He/She now has a blob for a head and nubs for hands and legs and is the size of a raspberry.

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.
1 Samuel 1:27

Thank you for all the sweet comments, phone calls and emails about my last post. I don't want anyone to feel bad about asking us when we were going to have another baby! We didn't tell anyone that we were trying or what we were going through. The only person who knew was my sister and one friend who had gone through infertility. This really brought Jonathan and I closer together and brought us closer to the Lord.

The good news is it has been a week and I haven't had a period. I have taken a 30 day ovulation prediction test and have not ovulated.

I've found comfort in God. I've been reading scriptures more, praying more and listening more...

I feel the strong urge to take a break this month. We need a break. We will start again next month. I feel like God is asking me to take some time off for my family. I feel like a crazy lady. How do I know this is from God? Easy, I want a baby! I don't want to prolong holding my new baby any longer!

Appointment with Dr. G, accompanied by Jonathan and Lucy.

Dr. G suggested 3 options
1. Birth control to regulate. -Umm NO!
2. Dilate the Cervix and scrape from the inside. -Umm No Thank You.
3. Birth control and Clomid. -Umm No!

After some convincing we decided to start birthcontrol again. After my next period we call back and he will do an ultrasount do check for cysts. They also did blood test to check my thyroid.

Blood test came back normal.

July 23
Started Period. My third period this month!

July 24
Started birth control

August 2011
August 2
I just want a baby.

August 19
Started period.
Dr. G not in office. Call monday.

August 22
Appointment with Dr. G at 3:30

He did an ultrasound to check my uterus and ovaries. Uterus very thin-normal after period. Ovaries looked very boring!

He perscribed Clomid 25mg. He was going to perscribe 50 mg but I told him about my family history of twins.

Started Clomid on August 22.

August 30
Appointment with Dr. G.
He did another ultrasound to check if there were any follicles.

When he walked in he asked me how I felt. I told him that morning I started cramping, I didn't know if it was normal. His face lit up like Christmas morning. He said, "Which side." I replied the right side...
He found two large follicles 24-30mm and few smaller ones on the right ovary.

He administered the trigger shot so that I would begin ovulating. Gave us directions on what to do next and told me to wait until day 30 to test so I didn't get a false positive.

I asked what my chances were to get pregnant the first time. He said you have just as good of a chance as any other couple, 20%.

On my way home I got a phone call from parkhill telling me that my insurance wouldn't cover any of the feritity treatments or the medicine. I said okay. They told me it would cost $500 a cycle including medicine. Not what I needed to hear!

August 31
I'm so worried this won't work. I don't want to pay $500 a cycle. I just want to hold my new baby. I'm filled with fears. I'm just going to hand it over to the Lord. It's in HIS hands. No matter what happens I know that He is good all the time.

For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:11-13

September 2011
September 9
I'm driving myself crazy!
Note to self- quit checking the internet!

Pregnancy signs
slight cramping
sore nipples- It could be because I keep grabbing them.

One more week until I can test!

September 16
Positive pregnancy test! But it's only day 28. I was told not to check until day 30.

September 18
Two more positive pregnancy tests!
God is good! All the time!
This is in his hands. I know it is still very early but I'm going to celebrate this baby and PRAISE THE LORD no matter what happens! If we are meant to have this baby he will give it to us!

September 19
Called the doctor to confirm. Told to wait 2 days then go for a blood test.

September 21
Blood test
The nurse called to tell me that the blood test came back positive but my hcg numbers were really low and not to get too excited! I had to wait two days to go back for another blood test.

September 23
My blood test came back showing my hcg levels had doubled from the day before!
Which meant I was pregnant!
They scheduled me for an ultrasound since I was a fertility patient.

October 2011
Oct 4
Ultrasound with Dr. G.
He was excited to see us. He told us that he wants all of his patients to get pregnant but he really wanted us to get pregnant. He also told us that his nurses told him we were there waiting and he skipped 2 patients to see us!

He did an ultrasound and we got to see the most beautiful little heart beat!

He said he was going to do another ultrasound at 8 weeks just so we could see the baby again!

This is our story. Yes it is long. We feel so blessed! God has been so good to us!

The End.

Friday with Sister.

Friday Laura and I needed to get out of the house. We decided to go to the craft fairs. Well when we pulled up to the convention center we decided we needed to go to the promenade. Neither of us were in the mood to fight crowds with three kids.
We found a Halloween costume for Lucy at Gymboree. FYI: they are on sale and they are really good quality.
Friday night we went to Fred's Hickory Inn with Uncle Dennis and Papaw Wayne. Dennis and Wayne were in town to catch a morning flight to Washington DC to see the WWII museum.

The End.

Auburn Tailgate

Last weekend was the Auburn tailgate. I love football season because we get to see Jonathan's family every couple of weeks. Lucy just loves her Bapaw and Cookie.

We felt like the luckiest people ever because we got to take Asher home so his parent's could go to the football game. He was an excellent house guest.
Are y'all tired of seeing this picture?

We went on a walk and were able to see tusk the mascot.
The End.

Abby's Birthday Party.

Yesterday we celebrated Abby's birthday at the Little Gym. Note to self: Have birthday at Little Gym, they do all the work! Lucy had so much fun!

The Birthday Girl. Lucy and Abby go to school together.

Lucy Speaks.

Lucy: When I get old enough I'm going to drink coke and hot coffee.
Me: Oh yeah, what else are you going to do when you get old enough.
Lucy: Wear Make up and drink this and this as she points to a bottle a wine on the counter and beer in the fridge.
Me: I think it's time we lock you up( and get rid of the booze).
Lucy: Mama!

Florida: Day 6

Our last day of vacation we needed to spend out of the sun. We loaded up and headed to the Gulf Breeze Zoo. It was super cute. Lucy loved all the animals.

She even got to feed a giraffe.

George went too.

In case you forgot what we look like.
There was even a train ride to bring you through the nature preserve.

After the zoo we headed back to our condo to do a little swimming.
We had a wonderful vacation. I'm still recovering from it! I woke Lucy up on Saturday to tell her it was time to go home and she said, "No, I want to go to the ocean." She is her mother's child! I love the ocean!
