On Tuesday nights we try to attend the Tuesday night dinners at our church. It is a great excuse not to cook. I love visiting with our friends and letting our kids play!

14 Weeks.

Baby #2-Week 14.

How Far Along: 14 weeks

Size of baby: My baby is the size of a lemon. It is 3.4 inches and 1.5 ounces, it has almost doubled in weight since last week and keeps on growing.

Weight Gain: 3 pounds. But it looks like more! I've really popped this week.

Maternity Clothes: I am wearing Maternity pants and some maternity tops. Most of my shirts are still long enough so I've been wearing them.

Gender: We are not going to find out! I love a surprise! Lucy thinks it's a girl. I think she might be right.

Movement: Not Yet.

Food Cravings/Aversions: My appetite is coming back. I still don't want to eat chicken. I still like salty/spicy/sour things. I'm still eating a lot of fruit.

What I miss: Nothing. I'm just happy to be Pregnant! Maybe sleeping on my stomach.

Sleep: I am starting to sleep better. I am only getting up once to go to the potty.

Symptoms: I am still taking 1 zofran a day. I thought the evening sickness was going away so I quit taking my medicine which was a big mistake.

Best Moment of the Week: Thanksgiving! and making it to 14 weeks which means I am now in the second Trimester!

What I look forward to: The second Trimester. I'm looking forward to feeling better!

Yesterday we gathered at the Farm house to do a little Thanksgiving Feast preparations! I love cooking with my sisters! I especially love sharing a meal with them!

Here I am pretending to cook.
Here I am showing off my 14 week bump.

I was proud of myself I made homemade rolls aka church rolls! They were almost perfect. I might have left them in the oven for a couple of minutes too long! They still tasted great!
Taylor, Uncle Pookie and Lucy playing with their phones.
Laura posing with our Brie Cheese. I don't know which looks better!

We did a Craft where the kids made cinnamon ornaments.

13 Weeks.

Baby #2-13 weeks

How Far Along: 13 weeks

Size of baby: The Baby is the size of a peach! I can't believe how big it is getting! It is about 2.9 inches long and weights about .81 ounces.

Weight Gain: 2.5 pounds.

Maternity Clothes: I am still wearing my regular clothes. The jeans in the picture above are my regular pants! I couldn't believe I could still button them! I tried on my maternity pants this week and they fell off. I have been wearing sweatpants and leggings a lot!

Gender: We are not going to find out! I love a surprise! I go back and forth on what I think it is.

Movement: Not Yet.

Food Cravings/Aversions: My appetite is coming back. I still don't want to eat chicken. I still like salty/spicy/sour things. I am eating a lot of fruit, like a bag of oranges a week!

What I miss: Nothing.

Sleep: I'm still going to the potty 2-4 times at night. This week I have been waking up at 2 and staying up until 3-4. I don't know why.

Symptoms: I am still taking 1 zofran a day. My nausea has been getting much better. I haven't been as sick as I have been. I get heartburn now after I eat anything late.

Best Moment of the Week: Just making it to 13 weeks. I'm trying to really enjoy this pregnancy because I'm 98% sure it's our last.

What I look forward to: Thanksgiving! I can't wait to eat all the yummy food. I may not post my weight next week, it could be embarrassing!

This morning Jonathan took my picture and Lucy walked in and started crying because she wanted her Picture made! Silly little goose!

Tennessee Tailgate

For our last tailgate of the season I only took one picture!
and it is sideways! That is Lucy and Lauren playing in the motor home. Lucy loved having someone older to play with. Like always there was delicious food and wonderful company. I'm going to miss all the time we get to spend with Jonathan's family. I'm looking forward to next years tailgates already!

I'm going to have to separate these two! Lucy loves Autumn. Personally I think Whitney would make a better pillow.

Best Friends.

I put Lucy to bed last night in clean dogless room last night. When I went to turn off her lamp this is what I found.
This little girl loves her dogs. She got her love for animals from her parents. (Disclaimer- I use to love my dogs oh so much, I still love all animals, I just don't want them shedding or making messes in my house!) Sometimes I will fuss at the dogs for getting in the trash or the Halloween candy or eating off the table and Lucy will say, "Mom, be nice to my dogs I'm going to take you to jail!" She really means business.

12 weeks

Baby #2- 12 Weeks
Please excuse the clothes hanging on the door. That is my drying system. If I weren't a little bit Lazy I would photoshop that out!

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 12 weeks 1 day

Size of baby: The size of a plum. 2.1 inches long and .49 ounces. (I had an ultrasound on Monday and our baby is measuring 3 days big. The doctor asked me if Lucy was a big kid. I replied, "She is 3 and the size of a 4 year old.")

Weight Gain: 1.5 pounds. This could get embarrassing quick! I'm proud of my weight gain right now.

Maternity Clothes: My jeans still fit but by the end of the day they are really uncomfortable. I have been wearing my leggings a lot! I told myself I wasn't allowed to wear maternity clothes until 12 weeks!

Gender: We are not going to find out! I love a surprise! From the very beginning I thought it was a boy because I've been so sick but we heard the heartbeat on Tuesday and it was 164. Now I'm thinking it's a girl!

Movement: Not Yet.

Food Cravings/Aversions: I have more food aversions than Cravings. The first 10 weeks I didn't want to eat anything I had to chew. I didn't even want to look at meat! Now my appetite is coming back but I can't handle chicken broth or big chunks of chicken unless it's in a casserole. I also don't want to eat red meat! I don't want to eat sweets either. I like spicy, salty and sour.

What I miss: Nothing.

Sleep: I'm sleeping great! I'm still on my belly but that is about to change! I would sleep better if I didn't get up four times a night to go to the bathroom!

Symptoms: I had some slight spotting this week along with cramping. My doctor says my uterus has been stretched out, cut up and shrunk so it's going through a lot this time around and that was the cause of the spotting and cramping. I am very nauseous in the evenings. I take one Zofran a day to help with my evening sickness. During the day I have a lot of energy though so I'll take being sick at night!

Best Moment of the Week: We had an ultrasound on Monday, I love seeing our baby. You could see the eye sockets and it now has a chin. We also had my regular OB appointment on Tuesday and we got to hear the heartbeat. There is no better sound!

What I look forward to: Planning the Nursery.

South Carolina Tailgate

The Bost Family of 3, soon to be 4!

Football season is coming to an end. Which means tailgate season is almost over! I love this time of year because we get to spend a lot of time with Jonathan's family who we don't get to see very often! (and we get to eat a lot of yummy food, I don't know what it is about tailgates but everyone brings their A-game and the food is delicious!)
