Week in the Life: Tuesday

Today I woke up at 5:30. My alarm wasn't set until 6 so I laid in bed until it went off. At 6:15 I got in the bath. I like to have a little piddle time in the morning to check my email and facebook. At 7 I was done getting ready. I noticed that there was a teeny bit of snow on the ground so I knew we needed to leave earlier than usual.

I woke Lucy up at 7:15. I got her dressed and fed. We were out the door by 7:40. This would give us 20 minutes to get to school. School is 5 minutes away. We arrived at school at 8:10. It took us 30 minutes to get to school! Traffic was terrible!

Once I dropped Lucy off I had to head to Fayetteville for my 15 1/2 week checkup. I had an 8:45 check-in but didn't arrive until 8:50. I hate being late but traffic was so terrible because of the little bit of snow!

This is me at the Dr.
I adore my Dr. He always spends a lot of time with me. Probably because I always have a list of questions. Baby's heartrate was 160. My next appointment is January 3 and they will do our ultrasound, where we will not find out the sex of the baby. I feel like this pregnancy is going by so fast!

After the Dr. I ran to walmart to get dog food. I then went home to wrap Christmas Presents. I am waiting on two more gifts to arrive and I am done with Christmas. Except for some stocking stuffers but I consider that pretty good!

Lucy has school from 8-12. I picked her up from school and we headed home to eat lunch. We ate our favorite. Sandwiches. Lucy ate a turkey and cheese sandwich with a side of chicken nuggets. I had a peanut butter, jelly and banana sandwich. It is my newest craving and it is so delicious!

After Lunch we did a little cleaning. Last night at bed time Lucy told her daddy that she needed a job. I told her I had a few jobs for her! So I put her to work.
I had to clean Lucy's room. This is something I have to do everyday. Little girl isn't getting any toys for Christmas because mama is tired of cleaning them up! If you are thinking about getting Lucy a toy for Christmas let me make a few suggestions on alternative gift ideas: dress-up clothes, books, socks, pajamas, craft supplies (she loves to paint) and her personal favorite a chickfila gift card.

After our cleaning we were exhausted and needed some cuddle time. So we cuddled on the couch and watched Toy Story.
During dinner Lucy decided that she would color on our dry erase board. This little girl loves to draw. She would draw a picture and say, "mama, does this make you happy."
We had a productive day. I put Lucy to bed at 7:30. I'm going to bed shortly after posting this.

The End.

Sorry, Asher thought Lucy needs more toys! So get ready to hide and take our Christmas present straight to Goodwill! :)
