Last Wednesday we got up early and were at the Children's hospital by 6 in the morning for Henry's ear procedure. I am so glad we decided to do this because the ENT said that he was already working on another ear infection. After the procedure Henry slept and when he woke up he was a different baby! He has been in the best mood ever since. You can just tell he feels so much better! He sleeps better, he eats better, he is just all around happy!

Me and my sweet boy!
The worst part about the procedure was having to go in by myself. I would recommend having some support there. It's hard to comfort the baby and comfort yourself. Jonathan stayed at home so we didn't have to get Lucy up early on her last day of school.

Last Day of School.

Lucy's last day of school was last wednesday! I can't believe how much this little girl has grown over the past 9 months! She is just a little lady. We are looking forward to a fun filled summer exploring Dallas and the surrounding area!

Water Day

Yesterday was Water Day at school! Lucy's school does so many fun things throughout the year and have really been out doing themselves the past two weeks in preparation for summer! Lucy dressed in her bathing suit, coverup, water shoes, sunglasses and a visor for the occasion.

I can't get over this little girl! She is so smart and so much fun!

Graduation Day.

Friday, Lucy graduated from Pre-k4. I have been so impressed with Lucy's school. They have the best curriculum and the best teachers. I am sad that this year has come to an end but I am excited about a fun summer! We are looking forward to starting Pre-k5 at the same school next year!

 Lucy with Ms. Knox.

So proud of this little girl! She has worked so hard all year long.

After the graduation reception we went to Lucy's class room where her teacher gave us a personalized scrap book, a video montage of Lucy pictures, a collection of her chapel sheets and her letter strips made into a ring story book. Like I said before, I am very impressed with this school!

Bulk cooking..

I've been doing some bulk cooking. Getting dinner on the table has been a real struggle for me since having Henry. So while he naps during the day Lucy and I have been getting dinner started. I made 4 lasagnas (4 lasagnas-3 meals each= 12 meals), 1 manicotti (3 meals), 3 enchiladas (9 meals), 1 small enchilada (2 meals), and 1 taco meal (2 meals). That is a total of 25 meals! I should let you know that my family doesn't mind leftovers and if they do they may fix themselves sandwiches.

Cookie and Papaw

We love getting out to Cookie and Papaw's farm. The two things I miss most about Arkansas are Trees and Topography change. I'm glad that Meadow Pond Farm has both!

A Potty Story.. minus the potty.

My dogs are 75% outside dogs. This started this week. This week they have either been sick or having trouble controlling their bodily functions in my house. So they have been moved outside. I clean up too much poop and I can't clean up anymore! So I told Lucy to leave the dogs outside they aren't allowed inside anymore until I decide it's time.

This story gets better....

Henry did not poop today. He is a big pooper, which I know he will appreciate me writing on the internet when he is older. I gave him a bath and put him down to get his pj's. He loves to crawl away from me when I'm trying to get him dressed. Well naked Henry crawled away. Naked Henry stopped to smile. Stopped to look at me. Stopped to look at his sister. Then made a little face and crawled away.... He left a little surprise for me on the carpet. It was an easy clean.

Lucy looked terrified. She looked at me and said, "Oh Please Mom! don't make him go live outside!!"

I told her we would give him a second chance.

1 year Comparrison

What a difference a year makes.
1 week and 1 year 1 week

I'm pulling pictures off my phone and I can't remember if I blogged about my friend Marci coming to visit! I love Marci and her son Joseph! I miss them so much and I am so glad that we have continued our friendship over the past year over the phone!

Here Henry and Joseph playing. Note- the play room started out picked up!
I'm so thankful Lucy loves her brother.
I just can't get enough of this sweet little girl. On Friday's we go for a treat to celebrate a great week at school. Lucy usually wants to go get a snow cone!
