Lucy Speaks

Lucy said the prayer tonight. At the end of the prayer she said, "And thank you for helping Taylor do what he did, and thank you for putting Jesus on the cross".

1. When she says, "Thank you for putting Jesus on the cross." I cry every time!

2. When she said, "Thank you for helping Taylor do what he did" she was referring to him being baptized. We had a long conversation about being baptized. I told her when she was ready we can take classes that our church offers and we need to pray to God to help us with that decision. Lucy looked disgusted after I was done talking.... I asked her why she was mad and she said, "Mom, why would be pray to Scott to help us with this decision!"

Praise the Lord I'm not a teacher!

Friday with Friends

This morning we loaded up in the car and picked up some of our best buddies to go to the Dallas zoo. I had checked the weather earlier in the week and 93 degrees sounded like the perfect cool weather for a day outside. Guess what, 93 degrees is cooler than 103 but it is still too hot to be outside! We all had fun and I can't wait to visit again!

Lucy and Evan.
Lucy just loves Evan.
This might be my favorite picture of all time.

Henry and Reid had a blast in the stroller.

 Just a bunch of monkeys.

 Caroline and her sweet boys.
 Me and my crew
We did half of the zoo and then decided it was time to go find lunch. We decided since we were so close to downtown that we should go to the clyde waren park and play and eat at the food trucks! We might have gotten lost and done a couple of u-turns but we made it and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back.

There was a little water feature and our kids mistook it for wet and wild. They went nuts. We started the day out with four kids dressed in their zoo best and ended the day with four kids stripped down to a diaper. Yes I had 5 diapers and we put one on all four kids, two who are fully potty trained, to travel home with because it was the only dry thing I had!

Spend the night party

My sweet little Lucy had her first Texas spend the night party with Manna and G-daddy. I haven't mentioned on my blog but my parent's have moved to Texas and not only do they live in the same town as we do they live in the same neighborhood! They are exactly .31 miles away!!

Lucy loved spending the night without her Brother!
