Class of 2027 Brunch

Julie and I hosted our annual Back to School lunch on Monday. We do this every year without fail... Actually, we've done it the past two years but I have the tendency to exaggerate. I have grand visions of doing this until our babies are seniors in high school.
You know what feels amazing? Being a seasoned elementary school mom. None of us were worried about anything. Our kids walked in like they owned the school and we walked out confident that they wouldn't get lost and would know how to navigate the lunch line.

These are all my first grade church mama friends. (Minus a few)

I'm thankful that we all have each other. It's wonderful to have friends that are in the same season as you. We get to do motherhood, elementary and life together.

No party is complete without champagne and my rubber gloves...
The beauty of this party is that at the end it was time for our kids to come home. Thank you girls for attending! We loved being entertained by you. Looking forward to our 2nd grade brunch next year. But it can take it's time getting here.

God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
