I've been a blog slacker this week, which normally wouldn't bother me but I've had many people check in on us to make sure we were okay. We are okay. We are just enjoying our last few days of summer.
Here's a list.
-Jonathan started his first round of chemo. He has done great. No side effects. We will finish the last dose tonight.
-We finished all of our back to school supply shopping this week.
-We finished our back to school shoe shopping this week also. Poor Henry has never had a new pair of shoes. (Not true, I buy him sun-sandals every year) He either gets Preston or Asher's hand-me-down or I buy them at rhealana. Anyway, Henry picked out his shoes and I thought he was going to sleep in them. He was so excited and proud. If you see him around town Ask him about them!
-I got my hair cut. I don't know what was more embarrassing 1. admitting that I don't brush my hair or 2. Her combing my dreadlock out....
So, Mary Bost will now start brushing her hair...
Here's a product she suggested for Lucy and I. I'm going to invest in it and make a goal of no more dreads in 2015.
I'll leave you with a pic of my new hair.
Don't get used to it. It will go back curly today or tomorrow.
God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
