I was really nervous about my last post. I find it therapeutic to write about what's going on, how I feel, and prayer requests. I love to look back and see how God is working. We aren't telling our kids much of anything but I want them to see (one day, when they are older) how God has worked in our lives, answered our prayers and how much he loves us.
Lucy: Dad, I really wish your head didn't get all messed up so that we could still eat poptarts...
Dad: Me too.
So, now that y'all know that I've had angry moments, I just wanted to tell you how I work through it because maybe you are angry...
1. Talk to God. He loves when we talk to him. He wants to be in constant communication with us. Even when we are angry.
2. Read your bible. Surround yourself in truth. You will see how much he loves you.
3. Take deep breaths. Exercise. Release that tension. Satan loves for us to get all tight and worked up.
4. Always remember, Jesus wins.
Lucy had her first soccer game.
Sunday, the Cobles came over after church and we ate for 4 hours. It was marvelous.
I ate 33 of these...
(bacon wrapped shrimp pepper in a bed of pepper jack cheese)
God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
