Thrift shopping is my favorite thing ever. Yesterday the sisters, my mom and I went to another town to dig through their treasures! I'm so glad we did because we all found some wonderful finds! Here's my loot. Lululemon pants $1.50, gap shirt dress $2, nike tank $1, tan top $1.50 and new nlt study bible $5! Can't beat that!
I love when things just work out. Yesterday I pulled up to Henry's school and noticed everyone wearing their favorite team shirts... I forgot about another spirit day again... We forgot crazy sock day, hat day, pj day, pizza day and now jersey day. Then I thought about what shirt Henry did pick out.
Funny how things work out. He wanted to wear his Team Jonathan shirt to school that day!
Power in prayer. Yesterday I wrote down under my Henry prayer column that I wanted God to help him become more independent. (maily because he is driving me crazy) That's all I wrote. That God, He is mighty to save and quick to serve. Henry decided that morning that he would go upstairs by himself to retrieve his dinosaur and he brushed his hair and put away the hairbrush... This morning he collected all his dinosaurs and asked for a zip-lock so that he wouldn't lose them...
Brussel sprouts. are. my. favorite.
I've been eating them like candy. My new favorite combo is brussel sprouts and butternut squash.
A group of us are taking our kids to experience another world without leaving ours. We will get to experience how povern people in different countries live. I think it will be powerful for all of us to see but especially our children.
God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
