Thankful heart.

 5 things I'm thankful for.

1. God is close to the brokenhearted. My goal for next year is to lay broken at His feet because He is so close.

2. My family. I'm really thankful Jonathan didn't die back in April when this all went down. Also, I have two healthy kids. I'm really thankful for that.

 3. My Friends. I'm rich in friends. I've never been rich in friends until we moved to Texas. I prayed hard for one friend when we moved here (Because all you really need is one person who gets you) and God overflowed me with wonderful, come-as-you-are, Jesus-loving, grace-filled, godly women.

 4. My Extended Family. God moved half my family to Texas. We all live within 30 minutes of each other. I couldn't survive without these people helping me with the kids and Jonathan especially during chemo weeks, or just offering a hug. They know what I need just by sound of my voice and I love them.

5. I'm thankful for a warm house and food to eat and clothes to wear.

6. Brain Cancer. I'm not thankful that we have cancer but I am thankful for what it has done for us. It has made us focus on Jesus and God's provision and re-prioritize what is really important in life.

That's it. That is all I am thankful for.... Just kidding. I'm thankful for everything that we have and I'm excited to share this day with my family. I'm also thankful for all the people who read this blog and pray for our family.

God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
