2015- The year of survival
We kicked off the new year with our best buddies!
The phrase #trashcanliving came into play because my kids were constantly sick.
Lucy had a tonsilloadenoidectomy and her second set of ear tubes installed.
(Which was the greatest thing we have ever done!)
Our beloved Autumn went to see Jesus in March. She was almost 12 years old. Jonathan gave her to me for my 19th birthday. It's been sad not having a dog in the house.
The night Autumn died is also the night Lucy asked Jesus into her heart.
We partied like princesses
We celebrated Easter in matching outfits.
Lucy went on a school field trip to Fire Safety town!
We went on an adventure to Downtown Dallas for a day at the Perot and lunch!
Jonathan and I were gifted VIP passes to the Rough Rider game. (That's just a fancy way of saying we got to eat all you can eat food, and I did. Girlfriend knows how to do free...)
April 18, we celebrated Jonathan's birthday with a trip to see Thomas the Train and to ride on the tracks with him!
April 24, I woke to Jonathan having a grande mal seizure. He was rushed to the hospital where we found out there was a mass on his brain.
April 25, Jonathan had a left temporal craniotomy and excisional biopsy of the mass.
We spent 5 nights in hospital and then moved his recovery to the house.
Two weeks after Jonathan's surgery He went back to work.
Three weeks after his surgery we went back to church.
and Marci came for a visit.
Jonathan started radiation and chemo.
June 9th, we celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary.
June 10 my grandmother went to be with Jesus.
The Cobles came for a visit.
I turned 31.
Lucy turned 7.
We visited the Great Wolf Lodge for her birthday.
Soccer season started.
Journey Christmas Party
It's been an eventful year. I keep reminding myself that there is no where to go but up!
2016 is my year! Even if it's not our year I know Jesus can get us through anything.
