Cookie Exchange

This is my favorite Journey girls event! It's a time when all the girls gather without our kids (except littles), chat and eat cookies. What's better than that!?!

This was the first event I attended three years ago when I first started going to the class. I didn't know anyone but everyone was so nice. That year we played a game- Guess who the person is. One person would describe that person and everyone guessed who it was. Person and person, description after description was This girl loves Jesus more than anyone I know, This person is mission focused, this person shines for Jesus, this girl is shy but when it comes to Jesus she is on fire and well, you get the point. After that night I knew I wanted to be like these girls.

Surround yourself with godly women. They will encourage and inspire you!

Not only are they godly, they are also talented in the baking field.
These are the cookies I brought- Peanut M&Ms. They are my favorite to eat.

(please notice that nice blur effect... I should give lessons on phone pics.- don't put your finger in the way of the flash... sorry girls...)

Speaking of godly women- Bonnie is the best pray-er I know. If you typed in Prayer Warrior in google- Bonnie's picture would show up. (not really, don't try it, but it should.) When I was feeling down a few months ago, Bonnie showed up with her prayer system. She encouraged me to bring it all to God and showed me how to pray my way out of a funk. I feel blessed to have her in my life.
On our way out group selfie pic!

I feel blessed and honored for each and everyone of these ladies. They are great examples of God-centered women. I prayed desperately for a friend when we moved to Texas and God exceeded all of my expectations. I know I could call/text/show up unannounced at any of these girls houses and they would welcome me in open armed. They have shown my family such love over the past 8 months that I really don't think we would have survived without them!

God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
