Disney Day 1

Saturday morning we got up super early and headed to the airport. We had a 8:00 flight.

The good thing about having two kids is that there is 1 parent per child.

After arriving in Orlando, we had some preparing to do. We picked up our rental car and headed to downtown disney for lunch. This was a terrible idea. 1. It was cold. 2. It was busy. We ran into the first restaurant we could find which happened to be Paradiso 37. Lunch on Saturday was the only thing I didn't plan. The good news was we knew we would eat again. After lunch we headed to Target to pick up our necessities for the condo. We were then able to check into our condo. We unpacked and rested until it was time for dinner.

Dinner: 1900 Park Fare, The Grand Floridian
This was our first character meal! We dined with Cinderella, Prince Charming, The Step Mother and step sisters! It was so much fun. The sisters and mother were a hoot.

We borrowed a knight costume for the occasion!
Anastasia was in love with Henry. Henry talked to her about fighting a dragon. Anastasia was well played and very into character, "Oh, Sir Henry, you are so brave and strong!"

I asked Lucy if she had any questions for Anastasia and she thought about it and said, "Can you do the splits?" Anastasia had a funny response about how she couldn't because she always forgot to stretch and that you should take advantage of your flexibility when you are young.
She then claimed him with a kiss!
When Lady Tremaine came to the table Henry looked at her and said, "I'm so mad at you! You locked cinderella in her room and she couldn't get out!" Lady Tremaine said, "Henry, do you always do what your mother says? Cinderella disobeyed me and she needed to be punished! So I locked her in her room!" Henry replied, "When my mom locks me in my room, I bust down the door." Lady T, "That is excellent behavior Henry! Keep it up!"

Henry had a crush on Cinderella and was excited to meet her until we actually met her and then he was very shy!

Dinner was a buffet and it was delicious! I wasn't expecting the food to be great but it was! I would highly recommend this character meal to anyone debating going!

God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
