Weekend Review

Friday I woke up to the sound of vomit... I'm pretty sure that and choking are the worst sounds ever. Henry had a tummy ache Friday, thankfully it was short lived and nobody else got it.

Saturday we got ready for our 1:00 game only to find out that it was actually 3:30... Next week is 1:00... So we went back home and Jonathan and Henry looked at the bb gun.

Saturday night we had a sitter and headed downtown to try out a new restaurant in deep ellum. Laura and Ryan picked filament. It was good but not drive downtown good. After we ate dinner mom and dad went to a trumpet concert and we decided to walk down elm street to see the art at the art festival. We are not cool for Deep Ellum, 1. we are old. 2. we are not hipsters 3. it is dirty. 4. it was loud. 5. it smelt of cigarettes.

We went to a mexican restaurant to see a live band and Jonathan kept saying, "Why is this so loud!"
This was our face when we realized we were too old for this.
We ended the night with a second dessert.
We rode with my parents downtown and then ubered home. It was our first uber experience and we didn't die. Sure my first question to the driver was "Are you going to kill us?" He agreed not to... On our way home I kept yawning and then asked, "goodness, what time is it?2 in the morning?" 9:45... We were home by 10 and asleep by 10:20. Netflix and PJs are my ideal night out..
Sunday we went to church and I tried to get a picture of the kids in their smocked outfits..
This is as good as I could get because they insisted that their picture be taken on this log that they kept falling off of.

  This is the best one.
I finished the weekend by doing our taxes. Fun was had by all!

God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
