Friday Favorites

It's my favorite time of the year! Planting season! They say not to plant your garden or pots until after Mother's Day but I planted two weeks ago because I don't know who they are and they aren't my boss. I've asked for a garden bed for Mother's Day... because wouldn't it be awesome to walk outside and put together a salad from the backyard!

Yesterday, I met my friend Julie at the Walmart to help her pick out plants for her pots in the backyard. We had more time walking, talking and plant shopping!

Our Vacation itinerary arrived yesterday! This mama is excited about all the fun we are going to have this summer on our trip! Lucy is most excited about zip-lining!

Speaking of summer, I have been busy planning a few camps for the kids! I told Lucy about Camp and she said, "Please don't sign me up for anything I just want to relax this summer!" I promised not to overload her with activities because really I just want to go to the pool with friends but she can't just watch Netflix all summer long.

Also, in case you were wondering, I use a cheap $4 paper calendar from walmart that shows the month at a glance. It's the best method for me to keep up with activities. I once had a fancy planner, not to name names but She stressed me out with all the options and color coding and pages. People made it a thing and pinterest worthy and I just wanted to write my stuff down... Not everything has to be a thing.. (capsule wardrobes, laundry folding, bible journaling (have you seen that), kid animal-shaped lunches, face contouring... just put on some clothes and give your kids a cheese stick- who cares!) Sorry about that tangent.

Last year we received Jonathan's brain cancer diagnosis. I wrote this post. I just want you to know that I was running on pure Jesus a year ago, there is no other way to explain it.

Henry David is going to be 4 on Sunday! I can't believe how time has flown by with this guy. When he isn't bad, he is so precious! I'm so thankful for his little life and that I get to be his mommy!
(This might be a face only a mommy could love, hold your comments if so.)
I think this is one of the two beautiful babies I've ever seen! Look at all that hair and those lips slay me!

It also reminds lucy and my weekly pictures!

Lucy was so excited to be a big sister!

That's all my favorites this week!

God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
