Friday Favorites

Yes it's ghetto. NO, they don't have bags. Yes, you have to put a quarter in to get your cart. No, there isn't a lot of name brand. Yes, it is my favorite place!!

I've shopped Aldi before but within the last 6 months I've really shopped Aldi's. It's cheap. It's organic or all natural (exceptions that I bought: lunchables (for field day), crackers and bread). It's delicious. My family can't tell that I'm not buying great value at Walmart...

I shopped Aldi's yesterday and bought 52 items for $85. That's 1.63 per item.
and they have oreo icecream cake for $10.
and M&M bars.. just saying..
You don't have to shop there, I just wanted you to know what you could save. I like to make the best of my resources and Aldi is a great way to do it.

Matt Chandler's, "A beautiful design series" is wonderful. I'm on the part 3- man's purpose. I am in awe of God's creation, his attention to all detail, his design for all things/activities have the same purpose- TO GLORIFY HIM. I had started some reading on God's design and our purpose and then I found this series, I can listen to it while I am working on the computer.

Workout... I've slacked on my working out and I've eaten like a king.. The combination has added to my muffin top. I'm thankful for a workout partner and time to workout. It's a great stress release and great friend time. Yesterday, we worked shoulders, back and abs and some cardio.
That's my calorie burn. (I love this heart rate monitor.) I walked into the gym with 200 calories burned.

This is the third time I have shown this picture but maybe you struggle with laundry and you didn't see this blessing. This may become my ministry, for the broken-laundry-moms, like myself. You are not alone!

I stacked an elfa shelf from the container store on top of the other to create this laundry sorter. Because if I can see all that needs to be done, I can do all that needs to be done. Now that my dryer is fixed I am a laundry machine! Guys, this is kind of expensive for a laundry unit but my mom did the same thing 20 years ago and it is still going strong! This is a cheaper option from Target.

Those are all my favorites this week. :)

God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix-it.
