I love to see people blog about normal things. I thought it would be fun to show you a typical Monday. Monday is an easy day because the kids are at school and we don't have after school activities and I'm not running around like a crazy lady.
My alarm goes off at 4:45. I usually hit snooze and get up by 5.
Wesley Bost is usually up at 4:45 and I'm forced to get up then.
After letting Wesley outside to go potty, we make coffee together and then I sit down and do my prayer time. I use this prayer journal and follow the ACTS model. (ACTS= Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication)
This morning Henry was up right behind me. He asked to watch Agent Oso on the TV before I had it on he was asleep.
At 6:15 Wesley and I go upstairs to wake Lucy up for school. She gets dressed and then we head downstairs for breakfast.
At 7:10 we leave for school. After drop off, it's time for me to get ready. Usually, on Mondays, I go to the gym for a class but this Monday I thought I could get an appointment for Wesley at the Vet. Turns out they couldn't get him in until Tuesday. (Wesley is a thief and last week he stole a steak, a cupcake, cookies, and goldfish= a tummy ache and frequent bathroom stops...)
I didn't know this until after I was ready for the day.
tinted sunscreen, I've worn it as a foundation all summer and plan to continue to do so until I need more coverage (maybe winter).
My favorite lipstick at the moment.
Half-Red lipliner/ Mac Lipstick -color amorous.
After drop-off, I ran to the car wash because I couldn't remember the last time I washed my car. The forecast showed that it wasn't going to rain for the next week!
After the carwash, I ran to Target. We needed toilet paper and sparkling water. Of course, I cruised all the aisles before leaving!
I ran home to let Wesley out of his Kennel and had a quick lunch of leftovers.
I knew that my tire was low so next on my list was the tire shop.
I thought I could just pull up and they would pump it up for me but since it was my second low tire of the month they wanted to check it out again.
We came home and had a snack.
After picking Lucy up from school, we got ready to have a swim. It's been 100 degrees outside so it was perfect September swim weather. Until it started to rain. There was one cloud in the sky that poured on us but the sun was shining so we swam in the rain!
Leftovers for dinner!
We didn't get home until 6:30 or 7. At that time we ate dinner, took showers, and then it was time for bed. Ideally, I would have the kids in bed by 7:30. It was closer to 8:30 until they were in bed and asleep!
Once the babies are asleep, Jonathan and I watch Netflix in bed. That's not code for anything, we really just watch West Wing. (which is an awesome show)
I'm usually asleep by 9:45 or 10.
That's a day in my life!
