Lucy doesn't have gym class at school, she likes to look fancy. Her words not mine... She loves some boots even if it's 85 degrees outside! Since learning about modesty she gives me the checklist in the morning, "Mom this is not too tight. When I bend over you can't see my panties because I put on leggings... When I raise my arms you can't see my stomach." I'm proud of her for making these good decisions.
Guys, this boy is a mess.
I had peanut butter m&m's for breakfast the other morning... I may be addicted and I'm going to have to quit cold turkey.
Henry and I have been working on the linen closets.... I have some after pictures I will share and you will be amazed at what I got rid of and gave away! I limited each bed to one extra set of sheets and got rid of everything else...
I completely emptied out Lucy's linen closet that is connected to her bathroom and made it into a shoe closet... You would have thought she won the lottery. SHOES SPARK JOY FOR LUCY! I also got rid of most of the baby blankets, I picked my favorites that sparked joy and memories and I put them in a keepsake/grandkid box.
The Magic Art of Tidying up has really helped me make decisions on what to keep and what to get rid of, I want to be surrounded by things that spark joy. I also don't want to open a closet and have stuff fall out on me...
We have soccer and volleyball practice at the exact same time so we have to rotate what we do each week. This week was volleyball practice. Our little team is getting better!
Wednesday we had bible study fellowship at Morgan's house. I took two pictures... And they were of the outside of her house. I love these pumpkins...
I love her elephant ears.
Bible study might be my favorite activity ever, yesterday we all got laughed, ate, got vulnerable and prayed together. Every year I say that particular study is my favorite and that group is my favorite. Well, this year the same thing.
I picked Henry up from school and he was asleep by the first turn we made in the car. He also has grown maybe 5 inches over the summer, His little pants reflected this... He didn't mind wearing capris to school.
Or I will just get on Thredup. That way I don't have to get dressed...

That is our week in pictures. Today, Henry and I are going to spend the day at home! We might run to the pant store to find some jeans that actually cover his entire leg...
