Weekend Review+ Weekly Happenings..

We just came off a week of chemo! SEVEN more to go!

Cookie came down to help this past week from Wednesday to Saturday. I'm so glad she did because it wasn't as draining on me and the kids loved having her here.

Henry helped her cook all the meals.

Lucy and I had a math lesson in the car while we waited for an appointment.

Friday I drove down to NorthPark in Dallas to the Neiman Marcus for a facial. I've never had a facial but the Collin County Moms Blog had a spot for a free facial and you know I jumped on that. Would I drive 20 minutes away again for a facial? Probably not. But my face has never felt better and I got to learn about some new Kate Somerville Products! I purchased the Depuffing eye cream and love the way it feels under my eyes.

Here are my before facial and after facial pictures...

Makeupless at Northpark, which for people not in the know is a hoity-toity area. (I wasn't in the know until Friday). The greatest part of this whole experience was the people watching I got to do!

Saturday the kids went to Flower Mound to spend chemo weekend with my sister and her family. After I dropped them off I asked Jonathan what he wanted to eat and he said a which wich. He's the only person I would stop and actually go into a store for to order a sandwich. I usually tell the kids that I can make them a sandwich at home...

After lunch and a nap on Saturday, I got busy on Christmas decorations!

Sunday Lucy had a makeup soccer game. Our little team went undefeated this season and only allowed 4 goals against them the entire season!

Monday, I met a friend for coffee at the new nerdvana coffee shop. I was early to meet her and ordered my coffee. I noticed that I didn't have my wallet... So, I told them that I was meeting someone and she would love to buy my coffee... And she did...

Lucy came home with a new Library book.

This week we have been trying to solve a mystery. Where in the world is Lucy's other tennis shoe? Every day I say, "Put your shoes up". The kids can put them in their lockers or I have a bucket in the hall closet but everyday I have to remind them to put their shoes up. Monday we couldn't find Lucy's shoes for school. I searched for them that day knowing we had volleyball practice that night. I couldn't find them. Lucy couldn't find them. I found one in the closet but the other one was missing...

Here is Lucy at Volleyball practice...

Last night I found the other shoe... in the crack of my bed, under my pillows...

Those are our latest happenings...

I hope you are having a wonderful week!

God is bigger than this and Jesus Can fix-it.
