Friday Favorites- Christmas!

I didn't send Christmas Cards this year but I did have new family pictures taken by a talent photographer! I meant to send cards but every time I went to order I just couldn't make myself spend the money... Instead, we decided to use our card money in helping provide a Christmas for someone else.

Here's a sneak at some of our pictures! I'm going to show them off throughout posts!

Besides family pictures, a blog headshot was taken. (which I feel ridiculous saying and showing... )

I hope you enjoy your Christmas with your family! I'm thankful for a Savior that humanized himself and died on the cross to save all of us and give us all eternal life! If you don't know Jesus this Christmas season (or any season...)  I'd love to talk to you about him!

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
-Isaiah 9:6

Weekly Happenings

This is the only picture I have taken in the past 4 days...

Yesterday I had to finish up some last minute shopping and I took the kids to 3 different grocery stores... They were miserable. I was miserable. By the end, we were barefoot and drinking real cokes in Walmart.

3 more sleeps until Christmas!!!

Speaking of Jesus' Birthday! Look what amazon has on sale today...

Enjoy your family this week!

My kids and I love to do a puzzle. Lucy and I can do a 1000 piece together and I usually pull a jumbo piece out for Henry. I think they are relaxing!

You have limited amount of time to get these before Christmas! Or you can go to the actual store and buy one...

Weekend Review!

Friday morning I received my secret Santa gift. I love to take a bath and have already tried out this set!

The kids and I left some goodies for the delivery people in our lives. I actually love these guys because they make my life easier! We just taped some Starbucks gift cards to our mat and every time we get a delivery they take one!

We also left a gift card + ornament for our mail lady. This is the first time I remembered our mail carrier...

Friday morning, I went to Morgan's house and we divided up all of the gifts that our cookie exchange girls had donated to our two adopted families. We had more fun sorting everything for these mamas.

We've started winter volleyball and the girls are having more fun. Sure, they don't win but they are learning!

Monday, we all piled up in the car and headed to flower mound to spend the day with Aunt Laura. Sunday, Laura and I traded kids- Henry for Addison and had a spend the night party.

We took the kids to see Santa at Bass Pro shop and by the time we got to the ticket line, there was a 5-hour wait....   So, instead of Santa, we saw all the stuffed animals! This is the pooping bear... our kids are confused with male genitalia and feces...

My little girl is growing up! She walked around the store with a purse and didn't want to climb on the boats and ATVs with her cousins!

But this guy is still my baby...

On our way out the boys made sure to hug on this longhorn!

We finished the day with a puzzle! I love a puzzle!

We are enjoying our time sleeping in and spending time with family!

Friday Favorites!

1. Bob Ross

Bob Ross is on Netflix and we have been watching an episode right before bed. I haven't watched a full one because he just puts me to sleep. We keep waiting for him to mess up but his paintings always end up amazing!

2. Journey Cookie Exchange

We had our annual class cookie exchange Thursday night. I love gathering with these ladies and sharing stories and life. I'm going to share more on this next week but It definitely makes my Friday Faves!
and this girl! Morgan is my everyday fave.

Morgan and I put together a mission project for our event, we found two families that were in need of Christmas and our girls went above and beyond with supplying gifts and necessities.

3. Henry and Mama Day

Tuesdays and Thursdays are Henry and Mama Days. We spend the day together. Sometimes we do fun things, sometimes we sit in our pjs at home. Yesterday we went to Northpark to see the trains and he had so much fun. Manna and Aunt Laura joined us, Henry had a blast being the only kid with so much adult attention. (He also didn't have to share Manna's iphone with anyone and he loved that... I don't let my kids play with my phone but Manna does...)

4.  Mac Lip Set
25% off

I bought this for a Christmas party and have worn it every day since. For real, it's the perfect red lipstick, It's versatile too, if I wear a pink shirt it brings out the pink color.

5. Letting things go...
I didn't bake cookies for my cookie exchange and I'm not sending Christmas cards. Why? I'm cutting out the extra...

6. Last minute shopping

I'm done shopping. If I forgot someone then they aren't getting anything... I've moved on to wrapping!

In case you don't like the idea of leaving someone off your list here are two of my gift guides.

I hope you have a great weekend!
