Weekend Review + Weekly Plan

||Weekend Review||

Jonathan finished round #19 of chemo. Every month I'm more and more amazed by that man. He is the strongest person in this world that I know. Every morning he gets up, loves his family and then goes to work to provide for us. Even when he feels like he's on the tilt a whirl. Jonathan would describe chemo like having the flu + riding the tilt a whirl. He aches and has fatigue and nausea.... which amazes me even more that he can get out of bed. He would tell you that Jesus gets him out of bed every morning, it's the only explanation.

Speaking of explanations....

Lucy was the cutest old lady I've ever seen. She told me that even though she was a 100-year-old granny she could still play soccer!

I'm so proud of our little spiker chick volleyball team. They lost their game but one one the second set! This is a huge improvement from last season!

I'm amazed at the meals that people provide for us during chemo week. That they would want to lighten our load and provide us with a meal that I DON'T HAVE TO COOK! Thank you!

Cookie and Papaw were here from Wednesday- Saturday and it's a huge help to have an extra set of hands for help with homework, dinner/clean up, baths and bedtime! Thank you, C and P for your help. Also, Aunt Emily came and helped this week too, which my kids always enjoy. And if I didn't' have enough help, Aunt Laura took the kids Saturday night and brought them home on Sunday. The kids think this is the best thing ever!

||To Study||

Learning the names of God
This week is Jehovah Raah.
Meaning- Lord is my shepherd. Lord is my friend.
 A shepherd is one who feeds or leads his flock to pasture (Eze 34:11-15). An extend translation of this word, rea', is "friend" or "companion." This indicates the intimacy God desires between Himself and His people. When the two words are combined - Jehovah Raah - it can be translated as "The Lord my Friend." - o.t. names of God
Note to self: God is present in the day to day, I can call on him like a friend.

Bible Study- Romans
Lesson Four- The Prayers of Paul
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. - Colossians 1:9

Speaking of Bible Study...

I wouldn't know these girls if I didn't have bible study. Sure, we are in the same adult fellowship but to dig deep into the word together and see these girls love for Jesus and their heart and struggles is what bonded us.

||Prayer Request||

Praise- Finished round #9 of chemo.

Prayer- pray for Jonathan's recovery- quickly adjust back to normal.

God is bigger than this and Jesus can fix it.
