My crazy is showing...

Have you ever had a normal friend that after a year or two their crazy couldn't help but show?? You can only hide crazy for so long... well, I try to show my crazy from the beginning so my friends know what they are getting into but I do try to hide it from others, mainly the kid's teachers....
Well, Lucy's teacher has been getting glimpses of my crazy all year but yesterday she got to see Crazy Mary....

Here's the story....

Once upon a time (just kidding, this is a true story)... I woke up yesterday so proud of myself that I remembered Pajama Day, I always forget these silly days. So I dressed Lucy in a pair of matching pajamas and we decided that she would wear her house robe to school. We stopped short of slippers because I couldn't find them... We thought about sponge rollers but thankfully Wesley had eaten those...

So I sent her to school dressed for Bed in her Pajamas because that is what the email said....
I was scrolling Facebook 20 minutes before school let out and I saw this reminder...

Apparently, I skimmed the first email because what I read was April 4th- Wear Pajamas because of the book fair and bring a sleeping bag... It made total sense because it was her classes day to go to the library...

If you read that message above you see that it says to wear them to school at night for a campout...

Lucy was the only child in pajamas, robe and sleeping bag yesterday at school... I apologized to her that I had things mixed up and she said, "Don't worry Mom, I just told everyone in my class that I had earned the reward and nobody questioned it." I've taught her many things but I'm most proud of her ability to LIE.... j/k.... Her Confidence in herself. That would have broken my 2nd-grade shy self!

So I did what anyone else would have done. I hugged my PJ-clad child and emailed her teacher to let her know that I know I AM CRAZY! There is nothing worst than a crazy person who doesn't know they are CRAZY!

I invite you all to evaluate your own crazy....
