Here's some things from our past week!
Last week Henry and Lucy ran in the fun run at school. Look at my long legged boy!
Thursday I went to the Journey Girls' mug exchange. It was super fun to hear mom/kid stories and trade mugs! I'm excited about mine and have enjoyed drinking coffee from it in the morning.
Friday, My friend Megan and I headed to fort worth to go to the Good will bins. Okay... this is not for everyone. It is gross and crowded but we had so much fun digging through the bins. We are modern day treasure hunters! We met fellow treasure hunters who told us the rules and tips and suggestions on other places to go!
It was a slow day at the bins. I've heard the bins are on constant rotation but we only saw one row change. We ended up not finding anything. We were a little disappointed but it didn't stop us from having fun! We stopped by a few estate sales and then a thrift store!
My favorite part of the day was when we stopped for lunch in Addison! We ate at a diner called the Maple Leaf and it is Canadian. We ate poutine- which is French fries with gravy and cheese curds and it was delicious! Cheese curds turned out to be just soft cheese.
I ate half of this burger and it was delicious!
Henry played like a Boss. (or a Bost...)
Saturday night we had a Horn Creek Family Camp Reunion. We loved spending time with these families at camp and love getting to hang in real time too!
Monday night we loaded up in Manna's suburban and headed to Flower Mound to watch my nephew play football.
He's #6 + 9 in the center of the field!
Now you are caught up on our week! I hope you finish this week strong!
God is bigger than this and Jesus Can fix it.
