Week/Weekend Review + Weekly Plan

School picture day!
He's showing off his squishy that Lucy gave him.
Are your kids into squishies? Just mine?

It's the big rage at our school.

Look at my pretty baby girl!

Lucy received a positive referral at school! This is a big deal! I wrote this on Instagram in real time...

Today I watched prayers I prayed 9 years ago answered... Lucy earned a positive referral from her teacher for " no challenge is to great for her, can-do attitude, always giving her best effort on every task, being kind and a friend to everyone in class, and always being ready to learn."
9 years ago I prayed over a colicky baby that she would be full of joy, love people and love Jesus, never meet a stranger and please Lord give her a big personality. (I was a shy kid and didn't want that for her...) God did better, he gave me Lucy.

I've been in tears thinking about this answered prayer. A young mom throwing words at God of all her wants and God listened and agreed. 9 years ago in that nursery God answered my prayer, it just took me 9 years to see it. Funny how God's time is nothing like ours.
It was a good reminder that we may not see our wants or needs answered on our timeline but God already has it figured out!
Keep praying!
The great thing about having a blog is that I have 9 years worth of stories and details our life and our kids day to day. Here is a link to Lucy's 3 month update where I tried to pin her personality.

I painted my laundry room and couldn't be happier!
I painted it Agreeable gray from Sherwin Williams. I'm thinking of painting my bedroom this color too...

Saturday Papaw and Cookie were in town to visit and watch all the sports! I loaded everyone up Saturday morning for our 8:40 game. Turns out it was 8:40 at night. I overlooked that part, because who would make 9 year olds play volleyball at 9! We also had soccer games.
One night we went to the Railyard in Frisco for dinner. It is an enclosed outdoor space that is surrounded by food trucks. It was so delicious and fun to watch the kids play around.

Jonathan and Henry
(I'm not sure what they are doing but J looks handsome so...)

Before church Henry needed a picture with his dog.

The kids didn't have school Friday and Monday so we had a spend the night party Sunday Night. Lucy went to Aunt Laura's and Preston spent the night with us!

I ended the weekend by brushing Wesley's hair. He looks ridiculous and needs to go to the groomer...
